Chief Kara's Healthful Hints

Over-Eating

We should never let one morsal of food pass between our lips between meal times. There should be five hours between each meal time. Why? The time for food to complete the process of digestion takes five hours. Any food taken between that time will cause the body to stop the process of breaking down the food previously eaten and it will come to a complete halt. The body will then began to start working on what you put in your mouth and thus causng fermentation. This causes poor blood, constipation and most of all food is held up in the stomach much longer than it should.

Overeatng, even of the simplest food, benumbs the sensitive nerves of the brain, and weakens its vitality. Overeating as a worse effect upon the system than overworking.

Suggested advice....Let five hours go between each meal time before placing any food in your mouth. Two meals a day is better than three.
